The Surge Institute is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to educate and develop leaders of color who create transformative change for young people, their families, and our broader communities.

Our Work

In 2019, Emilia partnered with the Chicago Freedom School to develop a Gender Inclusivity training for Surge Leadership. In 2020, Emilia supported their program director in identifying resources and training materials for a Healing Centered dialogue session.
