One Million Degrees (OMD) provides tools, resources, and guidance that put community college students on an accelerated career path to economic mobility.

Our Work

Over a 4 year period, the CCG team partnered with OMD to develop and facilitate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion curriculum for their volunteer coaches, reaching over 1000 participants. In 2019, Emilia led OMD’s executive leadership team through an intensive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion professional development series focused on capacity building, leadership strategies and identifying action steps.

The Chico Consulting Group brilliantly and thoughtfully designed and facilitated DEI workshops for hundreds of our organization's volunteer mentors. The challenging curriculum and reflective dialogue helped individuals to walk away with a better understanding of identities, systemic oppression, how they may uphold privilege, and ways they can push back against inequities.
